Recognition in the EU – Romania is a member of the European Union, and its medical degrees (MD) awarded by accredited universities are listed in the EU's Directive on the recognition of professional qualifications.

No special preference is given to local (UK/EU) students versus international students when applying for GMC registration; what matters is the qualification.

Some countries may require language proficiency in their national language. Like - Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Austria, Belgium, Ireland etc. Licensing is not automatic; you must apply to the relevant medical council or authority.
